Tortillas del Chico Blanco

Since 2020, Fremont County has had access to fresh, handmade Sonoran-style flour tortillas. Made by Lander's own tortillero, Mark Hamlin, through his business, Tortillas del Chico Blanco. Operating under the Wyoming Food Freedom Act, Tortillas del Chico Blanco hand produces 8" and 10" flour tortillas from a home kitchen and micro-tortilleria. With the simplest of ingredients (Flour, water, lard and salt), Mark produces a tortilla that simply can't be found in your standard grocery store and is seldom found North of the US/Mexico border.

What was once a well-kept secret for online followers (www.wyomingtortillas.com) and frequenters of the Lander Valley Farmers Market, these "tortillas from the white guy" are now available through the Fremont Local Market. If they're not sold out, give 'em a try. We promise that you and your family will love them.
